Supporting the Hydrological Sciences Branch (HSB)

The Hydrology DISC supports data products generated by GSFC's Hydrological Sciences Branch. The first product to be hosted is output from the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS), which integrates data from multiple space-based Earth observing systems using advanced land surface modeling and assimilation techniques. These products support weather and climate forecast experiments, water resources applications, and water and energy cycle research.

The data are provisional and subject to change as model improvements are implemented and new input data sets become available.

Mirador: A new and fast search and order interface

Mirador is a drastically simplified client using Google technology for keyword searches. It also has quick response, data file hit estimator, Gazetteer, and an interactive shopping cart.
