Experimental Operational NEESPI Giovanni available

This is the first truly multi-sensor multi-disciplinary Giovanni instance. This NEESPI Giovanni instance is dedicated to the studies of the environment of the Northern Eurasia. This very convenient online exploration tool allows "sensing" the environment at a course resolution, until the next release, and to quickly assess changes in parameters over a selected temporal and spatial region. The tool assists users in finding interesting phenomena, come up with ideas, ask questions about what is displayed, access the actual data for a more elaborated research, and much more.##:####:##This first release of NEESPI Giovanni contains only 1 x 1 deg gridded monthly data: 7 atmospheric parameters from two MODIS instruments onboard Terra and Aqua, 3 MODIS-derived fire products processed by the UMd group and snow/ice products from NOAA.##:####:##In the following releases more data will be added with more parameters and better resolution. The NEESPI Giovanni is now available.
