Access to GES DISC data requires all users to be registered with the Earthdata Login system. Data will continue to be free of charge and accessible via HTTP. Detailed instructions on how to register and receive authorization to access GES DISC data are provided here.

GES DISC Users who deploy scripting methods to list and download data in bulk via anonymous FTP are advised to review the How to Download Data Files from HTTP Service with wget instructions that provides examples of GNU wget commands for listing and downloading data via HTTP.

1. Search for Data Sets 2. Select Subset Criteria 3. View Results

Enter values for the Date Range and (optionally) the Spatial Bounding Box to search for data sets; those criteria will also be used when data sets are subsetted by Date Range and Spatial Region.
Data Set Keyword(s)
Enter keywords or click the 'Select Data Sets' button.
Date Range
Enter dates as YYYY-MM-DD or use the calendars.
Spatial Bounding Box
Enter South,West,North,East coordinates or use the map.
